LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Leon Bailey, the winger for Aston Villa, is currently under investigation by West Midlands Police due to allegations made by a supporter who claims Bailey assaulted him.
Reportedly, the incident occurred within the corporate boxes at Villa Park, where a fan approached Bailey, asking him to take a photo with his son, who was present at the match to celebrate his fifth birthday.
However, Bailey declined the request, and now the Villa supporter is asserting that Bailey pushed him to the ground.

According to accounts, there is CCTV footage capturing the alleged incident, and several witnesses have reportedly seen it.
West Midlands police are actively examining the situation but have refrained from commenting as of Sunday night. The fan provided a statement at the location of the incident.
Security personnel present at Villa Park contacted the police after the supposed altercation. The disagreement between the supporter and Bailey apparently stemmed from the player’s alleged reluctance to take a selfie with the supporter’s son.
Aston Villa is also conducting its own inquiry into the matter.
