LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Manchester United’s agreement to extend their contract with Adidas through 2035 has resulted in the largest kit deal in Premier League history.
After agreeing to extend their existing kit agreement with Adidas through 2025, the Red Devils are expected to earn a Premier League record £900 million ($1.15 billion) over ten years.
The German sportswear company, which had previously made United’s uniforms up until 1992 when the Red Devils moved to Umbro and later Nike, began producing the team’s uniforms once more in 2015.
Following the June and July releases of their new home and away uniforms, United has recently experienced their busiest summer in terms of shirt sales.
The squad, which was established in 2018, would allegedly receive more attention as a result of the agreement, according to the club.
