LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Manchester City have officially overtaken Chelsea as the fourth-most successful English team, following their Champions League victory.
City defeated Inter Milan 1-0 on Saturday night to win their first major European championship.
In addition, they rose up the list of England’s most successful teams and became the second team, following rival Manchester United in 1999, to win the Triple Crown.
Following closely behind Arsenal, who have 31 major trophies, City currently have 26 major trophies, surpassing Chelsea’s 25.

Manchester United has won 43 major championships, but Liverpool has won 45 trophies, making them the most successful team.
