IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, has condoled with the family of Sobur Olayiwola Olawale known better as Omititi, who died on Tuesday at the age of 58.
The lawmaker representing Mushin Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly was among the politicians who stormed Jos, the Plateau State capital, for the kick-off of the campaign of the APC candidate.
The deceased slumped at the rally and died moments later.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, 16 November, Tinubu described the deceased as a beloved family man, committed lawmaker and loyal party faithful.
He wrote: “I offer my deepest condolences to the family of Hon. Sobur Olawale who, until his tragic demise yesterday, represented Mushin Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
“Omititi, as he was affectionately called by friends and loved ones, was a beloved family man, committed lawmaker and loyal party faithful. He was unrelenting in his support for the growth and development of Lagos State and Nigeria.”
