IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The photos from the induction ceremony for the new students of Theatre Arts at the Benue State University, Makurdi, is trending on social media on Wednesday, 16 November.
In the pictures trending online, the 100-level students could be seen clad in white cloth, with few students faces painted during the candlelight procession.
The photos have sparked mixed reactions on social media with some users arguing that the students’ attires look like those usually worn during an initiation ceremony, while others gave their support to the initiative.
