IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nollywood actor, Wole Ojo, has advised aspiring actors to have an alternative source of income while chasing their dreams.

According to the movie star, this would help to avoid sexual harassment by filmmakers or directors.

He further said that having one’s money helps in better decision-making.

“Get training, it’s important. Not necessarily the four walls of universities you can get training at Ebonylife, Wale Adenuga, Emem Isong also have school, Blessing Egbe too and a host of others. Find yourself a school even if it’s online.

“Know that it’s not going to be easy, and most importantly have an alternative source of income,” said Wole Ojo.

“It’s good to chase your dream but having a steady source of income gives you leverage to make smarter decisions because when you do not have a steady income you become desperate so any pressure that comes your way you give in.

“When somebody says I need to have sex with you to give you a role you do it but when you have a steady source of income you will be able to make better decisions. If you have a steady source of income it puts you in a better place to say no to. It’s going to do you a lot of good.”
