Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Asake, has announced the third date for his London O2 show after selling out his second date in matter of minutes.
Earlier on Friday, the rave of the moment, announced he sold out his first show at the prestigious O2 Academy Brixton in London in five minutes.
The ‘Sungba’ crooner broke the news in an Instagram post and also announced a second show at the venue to accommodate other interested music lovers.
Asake is scheduled to perform at the 4,921-capacity venue on 11 December.
The concert is part of his forthcoming tour for ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe,’ his debut album, in the United Kingdom.
The ‘Joha’ crooner also appreciated his fans, adding that the feat would have been impossible without them.
“UK Terminators sold out my 1st London show in five minutes una too much. Can’t leave anyone out 2nd Date added tickets on sale Monday. Let’s go! I can’t wait to see you all!!” he wrote.
He dropped the second date, 12 December for his London 02 show.
Barely an hour after Asake announced a date for the second show the ticket was available online for sale and it sold in a matter of minutes as Asake revealed in a new post.
In light of the high demand for his tickets, Asake has consequently announced a third date which 15 December 2022 for his performance at the O2 Brixton 5,000 capacity hall.
It can be expected that the tickets for the third day will sell out just as fast as the first two shows.
The development further stretches the singer’s impressive career run since he came into the limelight.
With the feat, Asake joins the list of Nigerian singers who have sold out the venue.
In 2018, Burna Boy also sold out the hall during the London leg of his ‘Life On The Outside’ album tour.
Several Nigerian artistes have also performed at the highly acclaimed entertainment complex.
In December 2019, Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile headlined a show held at the venue.
