IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian singer Paul Okoye a.k.a RudeBoy and other Nigerians have reacted to the news of a Bayelsa big boy arrested recently in Abuja for allegedly being a kidnap kingpin.
The suspect simply known as John Lyon a.k.a ‘Lion’, was traced to Abuja from Bayelsa and was arrested.
In the video, he was seen begging for mercy while claiming he has only kidnapped two people.
He also begged to be set free because his wife just had a baby.
However, a man there who claimed to be one of Lion’s victims, insisted the suspect has kidnapped more than two people.
He narrated how Lion allegedly kidnapped him and threatened to end his life.
In a post shared on Instastories, singer Paul Okoye wondered why women do not ask men what they do for a living. According to him, they do not want to know, they just want to ”chop money”.

A Twitter user, @drpenking, shared a photo of alleged the notorious kidnapper popularly known as ‘Lyon’ posing with security operatives.
He tweeted, “Lyon the Kidnapper rolling with law enforcement. Imagine suspecting a criminal like this and calling authorities to “give useful information” about him and the “authorities happen to be his friends. Imagine what would happen to you. Nigeria is a scary place.”
In another tweet, he said, “For those of you who go to church to look for “God Fearing Man”, be aware that the church is just like the hospital.-Not everyone is responding to treatment. Crying during worship doesn’t make someone holy.
This is Lyon the Kidnapper who tortures, maims and kills Nigerians.”
He also tweeted, “Just imagine the agenda that would have been flying in this streets if a top supporter of Labour Party were arrested over kidnapping. It can’t happen but just imagine.”

Another tweep, Ifeanyichukwu, shared a video of Lion confessing to kidnapping two people, then Tamuno backtracked and said they are two different people.
