French international full-back, Layvin Kurzawa have joined Fulham on a season-long loan from Paris Saint Germain.

The 29 year-old left back will compete with American international Antonee Robinson for the starting spot in Marco Silva’s side after Wembley hero Joe Bryan was loaned to Nice yesterday.

ā€œI feel very, very happy to be here. It’s a family here, everyone is very cool. I’ve watched every Fulham game this season, and I can’t wait to play with this team,” Kurzawa told the club’s official website on Thursday.

Kurzawa, who came through the famed Monaco youth set-up, has won thirteen senior international caps for his country having burst on the scene having made his first-team debut for the MonƩgasques at the age of eighteen.

Kurzawa helped Monaco return to the top flight by winning Ligue 2 in 2013/14 and he took to the highest level with aplomb, scoring five goals and adding three further assists in 28 appearances, as they finished second behind PSG.

The attacking full back was named in Ligue 1’s team of the year before starring in the Champions’ League campaign that saw Monaco reach the last eight – eliminating Arsenal en route.

He joined PSG for Ā£22m in August 2015 and has won four league titles, four Coup de Frances and four Coup de Ligue trophies, as well as the Champions’ League.

He scored a wonderful hat-trick against Anderlecht, becoming the first defender to score a treble in the competition, but he has made just one appearance for PSG this season and jumped at the chance of a Premier League move.
