LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has revealed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has about 800 Nigerians arrested and detained for various offences, particularly Consular issues since October 2022. NiDCOM, in a warning to Nigerians traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stated that the Saudi authorities have intensified their crackdown on unauthorized immigrants without proper documentation. LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A woman identified as Mama Dada has allegedly set herself ablaze in Abeokuta, Ogun State, over her inability to pay back a N70,000 loan incurred from a microfinance bank. The incident took place in her rented apartment at Oke-Keesi, Itoko area of Abeokuta where she reportedly got burnt beyond recognition. LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A Mozambican Pastor has reportedly lost his life after attempting to fast for 40 days like Jesus was said to have done after his baptism. Francisco Barajah, who founded the Santa Trindade Evangelical Church in Manica, Mozambique, was confirmed dead on 15 February.
