LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICEOFNAIJA) – Members of Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Akure North Local Government, Ondo State, were taken aback as hoodlums invaded and vandalized church properties. Reverend David Akinadewo, the church’s resident minister, claimed that some identified persons attacked the church over the weekend. Akinadewo stated that the altar was damaged, the auditorium littered with broken bottles while plastic chairs and offering trays were set ablaze within the church premises. “Other areas damaged were the prayer room of the church and the tithe box,” he stated, stressing that the incident had been reported at the Oda Divisional Police Headquarters.…

LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Residents of Alagbado community fled to safety as fire from a petroleum tanker, engulfed MM fueling station in Alagbado, Ilorin, Kwara State. The State Governor, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq, was present at the incident scene at about 11.45 pm to assess the situation of things and commiserate with victims and residents of the area.
