The National and State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal in Bayelsa State has set aside the election of the member representing Sagbama-Ekeremor Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Fred Agbedi. The leadership of the Labour Party has rejected the outcome of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal which uphold the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as winner of the 25 February, 2023 election. The Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja, has dismissed the allegation that President Bola Tinubu was convicted in the United States of America, USA, on a drug trafficking related charge. The petition was filed by the Labour Party and its 2023 presidential candidate candidate, Peter Obi.
