The National Examinations Council on Tuesday announced that it has rescheduled the 2023 entrance examination which is conducted for gifted and talented children into Federal Government Academy, Suleja, from Saturday, 13 May, 2023, to Saturday, 10 June , 2023. “The Examination was rescheduled to enable more candidates to register for the examination following a request by some stakeholders for an extension of the registration period,” a statement by NECO said. Nigeria’s crude oil output in March signaled the first plunge in oil production since the last seven months. The crude oil output dropped by 38,102 barrels per day in March, translating to a cumulative loss of about 1,181,162 barrels in the month under review. Industry data obtained in Abuja on Monday, showed that Nigeria’s oil production had been on the rise since September 2022, following concerted efforts by the Federal Government and stakeholders to curb oil theft in the sector. A retired boxer identified as Moses Olopade, has been arrested in Ondo State for allegedly punching his wife, Tinuke, to coma over her refusal to hand over the television remote. Tarma Tsugnigo, one of the 12 persons kidnapped by gunmen in Gaye village, Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), last month, has been killed in a crossfire. Eleven of the villagers were among over 50 kidnap victims rescued by operatives of the FCT police Command at the weekend.
