IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa has taken to Twitter on Monday, to reveal that she still fears her mother.
The 37-year-old TV host disclosed that her mother visited her unannounced and she found herself scrambling to spray everywhere to rid her space of the smell of “pot” which her friends smoked while they were at her house.
She tweeted: “You are never too old to fear your African mother, tell me why in my 37 years of age, my mother shows up to my house unannounced and I’m spraying everywhere cos I had guests over and some smoked some pot. if she catches a whiff of it, I may not be alive to gist you all o. 😂
“You’ll be paying your own bills and be in your big age but the fear of your parents is still real 😂😂😂
“Bruhhhh, I’m like what if I had a special someone that stayed over??? You cannot just wake up and show up at my house Mother.”

Opeyemi who can’t hide how proud he is of the media personality wrote: “I’m so proud of you. Despite your age, fame and wealth, you still show that high level of respect to them. May God continue to elevate you.”
