ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A member of the House of Representatives, Ikenga Ugochinyere, has criticised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for allowing the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, participate in the National caucus meeting.
In a post shared via his X handle on Thursday, April 18, Ugochinyere described the development as ‘weak’.
Ugochinyere who is also the spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties (UPP) and a PDP chieftain, wondered if this is how the party intends to take over the seat of power in 2027.

He wrote: ‘’Is this really happening to us?
“PDP governors and National Caucus members sat helplessly without anyone standing up to stop a serving APC government official from entering their closed door caucus meeting in Abuja few hours ago.
“How weak can a party that claims that it wants to capture power in 2027 be by allowing a man campaigning for APC to stampede their meeting?“
Wike, who is a member of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) under the ruling APC-led administration, sat close to the former presidential candidate of the party Atiku Abubakar during the meeting, which was held on Wednesday, April 17.
