ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Reports reaching voiceofnaija.ng have it that Professor Zacchaeus Adangor has resigned as the Attorney-General (AG) and Commissioner for Justice in Rivers State.
The now resigned Attorney General is known to be a close ally of immediate past Governor, Nyesom Wike, having worked in that capacity for eight years.

According to Channels TV, Adangor’s resignation, dated 14 December, 2023, was addressed to Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The Commissioner reportedly described his reason for resigning as based “purely on personal decision”.
This development is the latest in the string of crisis rocking the Rivers State political space.
