LAGOS, Nigeria( VOICE OF NAIJA) – Renowned artist, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe aka Kizz Daniel, has taken to social media to talk about his ethnic identity.
Shortly after the release of his singles, ‘Twe Twe’ and ‘Too Busy to be Bae’, the singer engaged his fans in a chat.
‘Twe Twe’ is a fusion of tradition and modernity that draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Nupe tribe in Nigeria.
With the new sound, some social media users inquired if Daniel shares a lineage with the northerners.
Reacting to the tweets, the ‘Buga’ hitmaker rveelaed that he shares two ethnic identities.
He said he is “half Yoruba and half Fulani”.
Although the singer did share more details about his cultural background, his revelation attracted reactions from social media users.
