ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Kechi Okwuchi, the sole survivor of the horrific Sosoliso plane disaster, which happened 18 years ago, has paid tribute to the 60 classmates who perished in the horrific incident.
In a post on X, Kechi, the America’s Got Talent contestant, prayed that the 60 angels keep watching over her and one other who survived.
“Dear 60 Angels, 18 years have passed since the Sosoliso plane crash that took your lives among other dear souls, while sparing mine and 1 other. Another year, another new set of milestones. All for you. Please keep watching over me as I make even more memories for us. #60Angels,“ she wrote.

Kechi was a student at Loyola Jesuit College and was a passenger on board when the Sosoliso aircraft 1145 crashed on 10 December, 2005, at Port Harcourt International Airport, killing 106 persons, including 60 of her classmates.
Among other victims of the tragic incident was late Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya, the mother of Jimmy Odukoya, who is currently the Lead Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Lagos.
