LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) AC Milan are reportedly in discussions with retired Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic regarding a potential return to San Siro.
The 41-year-old charismatic footballer called time on his career at the end of the previous season due to persistent injuries.
His illustrious career concluded in Italy, where he enjoyed a second stint with AC Milan and won another Serie A title.
Ibrahimovic was recently seen in Milan ahead of a Champions League match against Newcastle.

According to Calciomercato, talks have taken place between the former Swedish international and club owner Gerry Cardinale regarding a potential role with the team.
AC Milan is eager to leverage Ibrahimovic’s experience and strong personality, considering him a valuable asset who understands the pressures of performing at the highest level.
He is seen as someone who can bridge the gap between the players and the coaching staff.
With the departure of club legend Paolo Maldini over the summer, there have been suggestions that Ibrahimovic might assume a role as a team manager, working alongside head coach Stefano Pioli.
However, Ibrahimovic is taking his time to make a decision, seeking clarity on the club’s structure and the specific responsibilities of his new role.
