LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Kylian Mbappe’s posters at Parc des Princes appear to have been taken down by PSG, and his jersey is no longer being sold at club shops in Paris.
The France international, whose current contract is slated to expire in 2024, had been predicted to depart the Ligue 1 winners this summer after refusing to sign a new one.
He was not included in the French team’s pre-season tour squad, and the Paris Saint-Germain board is seeking to collect a fee for him rather than letting him depart for free. He is also not allowed to practice with the first team.
Now that Mbappe’s name appears to be gone from the shirts being sold at club stores in Paris, PSG has increased the pressure on him, according to GFFN via Gol.
PSG also appears to have taken down banners of its star player that were hanging over their home stadium.

The 24-year-old is at odds with the team and is presently being made to practice with the “bomb squad” of PSG misfits.
The World Cup champion is rumoured to have signed a deal with Real Madrid that will begin in 2024, but Paris Saint-Germain wants a sizable sum for a player they value at €250 million (£215 million or $274 million).
It is unknown if Mbappe will play for PSG this season; the season is due to start this weekend. Mbappe had previously called PSG a “divisive” club.
On Saturday, 12 August, PSG hosts Lorient to begin their campaign. It is still unclear if Mbappe will play for the side.
