ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Department of State Services (DSS) has summoned and questioned the Secretary to Ogun State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, following recent accusations of fraud made against him.
According to a confidential source from the DSS, the investigation was prompted by the allegations raised against Talabi.
The interrogation took place at the Ogun State Command Headquarters of the DSS in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Friday at 6:55 pm.
Talabi underwent five hours of questioning but was subsequently released on self-recognition.
One of the key issues under scrutiny is Talabi’s alleged involvement with Superflux Printing Limited, located in Ikeja, Lagos State.

A petition submitted by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome, urged the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, Code of Conduct Bureau, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to thoroughly investigate the connection between the Independent National Electoral Commission and a printing company believed to be owned by Talabi during the last elections.
Interestingly, the DSS initiated the inquiry based on a petition lodged by Talabi himself concerning the allegations.
The DSS sought to verify allegations related to ballot paper printing and other matters against Talabi.
The investigation also addressed the alleged role of Superflux Printing Limited in the Covid-19 palliative controversy and its connection to significant sums of money related to Ogun State.
Furthermore, the DSS inquired about the company’s potential role in the 2023 elections, raising concerns about the credibility of the upcoming polls.
