American musicians Jennifer Hudson and Common have fueled dating rumours as they were spotted in London enjoying a romantic weekend.
The pair reportedly flew across the pond together to see the Tony-winning musical, “A Strange Loop.”
According to Daily Mail, Common and Hudson — who is one of the musical’s producers — arrived separately from each other but reportedly posed for pictures backstage with cast members.
“There has been speculation for months regarding whether or not they are together, but the fact they’ve traveled all the way to London together just shows they’re very much an item,” a source told the outlet.
“They arrived to the show individually to avoid any commotion but away from prying eyes, they were very much in each other’s company,” the source added.
Fans began speculating in March that the friends had begun dating after she posted an Instagram wishing the “Glory” performer happy birthday.
“Team Jhud pls help me wish one of the brightest lights, a Chicago and hip hop legend, the one and only @common a very happy birthday on today!” she wrote in an Instagram post.
The “Respect” star also shared a photo of herself and the “Invocation” rapper cozying up to one another with big smiles.
Common reposted her birthday tribute to his social media.
“Thank you!” he captioned the post on his Instagram Story.
When asked about their reported romance on the “Today” show last month, Common sidestepped the question.
“I’ll say, speaking of Chicago, she’s a Chicagoan, this amazing human being — I’ve always been inspired by her,” he replied. “She’s one of the most beautiful people I ever met on the planet. Incredible heart, and she’s just dope, man.
“Seeing her evolve from an actress and singing, she’s doing so many things and now her talk show, she’s amazing, she’s inspiring. I’m grateful to know her.”
Common has dated several famous women including Erykah Badu, Taraji P. Henson, Serena Williams and Angela Rye.
His most recent high-profile romance was with “Girls Trip” star Tiffany Haddish. They ended things in November 2021 after a year of dating.
The “Never Have I Ever” star shares 26-year-old daughter Omoye Assata Lynn with ex Kim Jones, whom he dated in the ’90s.
Meanwhile, Hudson was previously engaged to 42-year-old David Otunga — with whom she shares a 13-year-old son, David Jr. — though they broke up in 2017.
