Netizens have reacted to singer Paul Okoye’s Instagram post where he asked Nigerians to fasten their seatbelts as the cost of living and foodstuffs has increased steeply.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, Paul said Nigeria is about to ‘’take off’.

Reacting to his post, a netizen described those supporting the new policies by Tinubu as gullible illiterates.

He said: “The gullible illiterates that are supporting this dispensation will not say anything, they will see black and call it white, watch the way they’ll attack Paul, forgetting that Paul is rich. He is only speaking for the poor masses,I have not seen what this dispensation has done to better the lives of citizens, the idiots supporting them is bcoz of tribe,na everybody dey see the shege, Goodbye”

Another user Chichi said, “We already took off. You are way behind.”

One user dragged the singer and said: “Tell us it is affecting you, They sing one song and call themselves stars. No inspiration for another song. Gone are the days of real creativity when Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey lasted on the stage for more than forty years because of their creativity.

“These arrogant so called musicians release an album and the whole world no go hear word. He wanted Peter Obi, he became partisan and the fact that Peter Obi did not become President offended them and they suddenly became activist from being a Musician. As e dey pain them, omo e de sweet us.”

Chu Chu reacted: “Mr Paul you guys are our voice…you should help speak for Nigerians…this country is in serious mess…..and Nigerians are scared and confused to speak out…the musicians should be the their fans voice(the people) that’s what Fela did and thats a good legacy to emulate”

Another user on his part said: “Let the pains begin. I am enjoying watching the self-imposed misery in the tragedy called Nigeria. I bet you Seyi Law gets special discounts on tariffs, fuel, foodstuffs. 😂😂 We dey here!”
