Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iniobong Edo, has opened up about her surrogacy, and failed marriage, in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
The famous actress opened up on the reason she chose to have her daughter through surrogacy.
Recall that in 2021, the movie star disclosed that she had welcomed a daughter through surrogacy in a bid to fulfill her dream of motherhood.
Speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the mother-of-one divulged that she was constantly having miscarriages and eventually got tired of trying.
She lamented that since she had no husband, she decided to opt for surrogacy.
Speaking further, the Nollywood star revealed that when a scandal erupted over the surrogacy issue, she blanked out in her car.

The ‘Shanty Town’ producer also revealed her greatest regret.
According to the brand influencer, her marriage to her ex-husband, Philip Ehiagwina, was her greatest regret.
According to her, pressure from her family members pushed her into marriage.
The actress said she had second thoughts about getting married in the first place.
Recall that, on 29 November, 2008, Ini Edo married American-based businessman Philip Ehiagwina, but the marriage only lasted five years before they divorced in 2013.
The Nollywood actress added that she would only consider marriage with the right person.
She said: “I regretted my decision to get married because it wasn’t just the right move to make.”

In 2021, the actress welcomed a child via surrogacy, revealing that she chose that route due to miscarriages.
“I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages. And I just got tired of trying.
“I don’t have a husband. So, I’m like, I want a child for myself, whether I have a husband or not. So, what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child. My eggs. Thankfully, my eggs are good. So I did that.”
