LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Guinness World Records has revealed that there was a miscalculation in Hilda’s rest breaks during her cook-a-thon attempt which led to the award of 93 hours and 11 minutes, as opposed to the 100 hours she claimed.
The record challenge comes with strict rules that must be followed through out, among which there must be at least two items being prepared or cooked at anytime and the number, name and weigh of each food items must be submitted with the evidence.

GWR noted that Hilda fulfilled all the necessary rules. However, her team most likely did not record each break as there have been miscalculations of how she observed her break time, adding that breaks are calculated and if not used on each hour, can be summed up as one full break.
Chef Hilda’s attempt, after review has been accepted by GWR as she has been announced the new holder for the Guinness World Record title for longest cooking marathon.
