LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE NAIJA)- David De Gea has reportedly received “tempting offers” from Saudi Arabia despite orally settling on personal terms with Manchester United for a new deal.
The Spaniard’s current contract expires at the end of the month, making him eligible to sign a free transfer with other teams.
Following costly errors against Manchester City and Sevilla, De Gea’s performances have come under fire in recent months.
Erik ten Hag has expressed a desire to buy a goalkeeper to challenge De Gea, whose distribution has frequently been questioned.

De Gea and United have chosen to sign a new verbal agreement rather than a new contract, despite this.
De Gea’s wage, which makes him the highest paid player at the club at £375,000 per week, would be drastically reduced as a result of the agreement.
According to Fabrizio Romano, De Gea may have already played his last match for the club, although he is reportedly drawing interest from Saudi Arabia.
