ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – An elected member of the House of Representatives, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was held spell bound after listening to President Bola Tinubu’s speech.
In an interview with the Channels Television, the PDP Reps-Elect said he was inspired by the President’s speech, adding that he is not singing the President’s praise as an act of eye service.
The PDP House of Rep Member further noted that President Tinubu gave his speech with no paper, or teleprompter.
When asked his take on the meeting, he said: “My take on what went down today in meeting the president is that, I am not in the business of signing up for hype or eye service.

“But today, I watched the President who showed confidence, I was really inspired by his speech, I watched perhaps the most inspiring speech by the Nigerian president since I came of age watching politics.
“He covered all the matters, everything, the entire field, he spoke about unity, he spoke about politics, governance and the speech was extempore, no paper, No Teleprompter.
“Infact I was inspired, it was perhaps to most eloquent and inspiring speech by a president in Nigeria ever.
“It was quite inspiring by the president. It was a closed door meeting, the press were asked to leave. He spoke with authority and a lot of confidence.”
