LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Chelsea midfielder, N’Golo Kante has reportedly undergone a medical before to his €100 million transfer to Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League.
A deal has been finalized, according to Fabrizio Romano, after it was initially stated on Monday that Saudi officials had traveled to London to meet with Kante.
In two years, Kante will reportedly make a staggering €200 million (£172.1 million/$213.8 million) at Al-Ittihad.
According to Romano, Kante finished his physical on Wednesday in London, and the Saudi club is now preparing to make an official statement.
Karim Benzema, a former Real Madrid talisman, will team up with the World Cup champion at his new club, who won the league last year.

During the 2023–24 season, the two will face off against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr for trophies.
Kante will leave Stamford Bridge having cemented his place as a Chelsea legend.
In his first season with the club, he contributed to the Blues winning the Premier League in 2017, and in the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City, he displayed player of the match skills.
Directors from Al-Ittihad arrived in London on Tuesday night to arrange Kante’s new contract alongside representatives from the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, which recently seized control of four of the country’s top teams, including the champions.
Now that his seven-year tenure at Chelsea has come to an end, the Frenchman will fly to Saudi Arabia for a public debut.
