A woman in Kenya named Agnes Nespondi, has reportedly given birth to eleven blind children despite medical reports telling her all was well during pregnancy.

The story of her life was published by Afrimax English who shared the heartbreaking account of her life on their YouTube page.

It was gathered that she had given birth to her first child which turned out to be blind and the other ten followed suit in the same condition.

The video showed how she goes about caring for all eleven kids who cannot help themselves without her aide.

All Agnes’s children are all grown up except the last two who are still kids.

One of her sons is already married and has children. His wife is the one who strives to care for the kids.

Life became so unbearable for the widow and her children after the passing of her husband who died in the 90s. People have been moved to tears by the story of this family.

Narrating her ordeal, Agnes related that when she got married to her now late husband everything was okay and she got pregnant with their firstborn child who was a boy.

The doctors didn’t notice that the child was blind and after some months they noticed, and took the baby to the hospital where the doctors confirmed he was born blind.

The couple didn’t give up and she got pregnant again the second born was also a boy and was blind, and since she wanted to have a big family she gave birth to the third, and fourth up to eleven kids and they are all boys and blind.

Agnes said that the people in her village say that she is cursed or her family might have used witchcraft on her and that is why she gave birth to blind kids, this makes her feel bad and wonder why something like this had to happen to her.

The poor mum was unable to take them to special schools for kids with disabilities since she couldn’t afford to pay the school fees, since her husband died life has not been easy for her and the kids.

The firstborn child who is 42 years stated that they had to go to the streets to beg for coins so that they can eat, saying that if they didn’t have their mother who has never gotten tired of taking care of them.

The mum of eleven seeks support for anyone who can teach her kids skills that a blind person can do to earn a living so that they can support themselves.

YouTube users have reacted to the video with some of the opinion that she was spiritually attacked.

Janet Manjemela commented: “Uuuuuh! This is very strange! The devil has terribly attacked this family. May God see them through. Watching from Zambia.”

Muriel Johnson wrote: “No words to say my heart goes out for their mother. God bless her. I will send my donation.”

Alfred Lungu on his part said: “One might think he’s living a bad life but there is someone worse out there. God have mercy,” While Lucy Mwenje said: “O God, this is too much for this woman….may God strengthen her. She is indeed a strong woman….I hope this Marks a new beginning in their lives, at least a small change.”
