Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko simply known as Simi, has shut down a troll who accused her husband, Adekunle Gold, of ‘plagiarizing’ Burna Boy’s mannerism and style.
The Twitter user shared photos of Nigerian fighter, Israel Adesanya celebrating his victory with Adekunle Gold and friends, claiming that the musician copies Burna Boy’s “posture, smile and glasses.”
The photos posted on Twitter featured both Adekunle Gold and Burna Boy wearing nearly identical clothing, with the troll questioning whether it was a mere coincidence or intentional imitation.

“The Burna Boy plagiarism is really so obvious and very annoying at this point. Man can’t you just be yourself? same posture, same glasses, same smile. wtf ?! it’s been going on for a while now and we need to speak on it.”
In a reply to the post, Simi stated that individuals who have a good life do not engage in such behavior.
She emphasized that those who use the internet to criticize others are probably unhappy with their own lives and are trying to distract themselves. Therefore, she expressed her pity for such individuals.
In her own words, the mother-of-one said: “People that have good things going on in their lives really never do shit like this. And that’s a fact for everyone. When you come on the internet talking nonsense about anyone minding their damn business, your life is most likely sad and you’re distracting yourself. So it’s you I’m sorry for.”
