ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The G5 Governors have arrived at the ancient Mapo hall in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to flag off the re-election campaign of one of their members, Governor Seyi Makinde.

The aggrieved Governors are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who are calling for the resignation of Senator Iyorchia Ayu, as the party’s National Chairman.

The aggrieved G5 are Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu; Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State; Enugu State Governor; Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, who is the leader.

The G5 arrived at the venue of the campaign flag-off at exactly 1 pm.

Meanwhile, major roads leading to Mapo hall have been jampacked with party loyalists from all the 33 Local Government Areas made up the state, while the security operatives are making serious efforts to control the crowd.
