IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A tweep identified as @sickweirdoo has revealed a shocking discussion he had with two teenagers on one of the WhatsApp groups he was in.
According to the tweep, he was bored on Saturday afternoon and he decided to check a WhatsApp group.
They were discussing sexual things. Two girls were arguing they’ve seen more penis than each other.
He was reading through, till his eyes caught one statement where two girls were arguing they’ve seen more penis than each other.
He said he was totally shocked after finding out the two girls were teenager, aged 17 and 18.
He blamed the girls’ actions on poor parenting.
His tweet read: “I don’t normally chat on Whatsapp groups just once a while, I was bored this afternoon decided to check one group I’m in , they were talking bout sexual things , I was reading through, till my eyes caught one statement where two girls were arguing they’ve seen more penis than each other.
“It was like 50 mins ago so I decided to bring it up again, and replied one of them and asked their age , to my surprise one replied 17 the other said I’m going to be 18 Dec 1… I was totally shocked and asked further do you think having sex is a flex? one replied and said it’s not but my sex life isn’t as boring as yours, I smiled and asked again, what makes you think my sex life is boring, she said people who talk like me rarely have sex or haven’t had it.
“That sex is a wonderful thing anytime she’s in the mood her boys always come around, she still further asked if I’ve done a 3 some, this was where I knew this girl had a fault in her upbringing.
“For a 17 year old to be so active about sex and being proud of it says a lot about her parents. the rate at which this girls look at sex as a piece of cake is quite alarming this days… God help us!
“Many of you criticizing me for mentioning parents are in my dm now asking for the group’s link, what do I say about your own parents?”
His tweets have since sparked controversy on the microblogging platform.
A tweep, @ms_vickk said it’s not always about the parents.
“It’s sad but it’s not always about the parents. Your parents can do all it takes to raise you the best way they can,but sometimes people just choose the path they way to go and it’s not always right but that doesn’t mean the parents didn’t do a good job.”
Another tweep, @Kahyata replied @ms_vickkk, “Most issues related to kids problematic issues are caused by parenting. Knowing that these kids are under 17. They are obliged to a guardian. So whatever the case is. The guardian must be held accountable.”
The conversation continued between the two tweeps as @ms_vickk said: “I personally have seen people with the best upbringing and parents go wayward I just think it’s a personal decision . At 17 you are not with your parents every second so they cannot police everything you do all the can do is try their best with upbringing and the rest is on you.”
“The double standards though. I’m sure you wouldn’t care if it was boys who said these thing,” @TWinered reacted.
