IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria for London, the United Kingdom today for “routine medical check-up”.

Buhari will leave for London after attending the Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement on Monday, said Buhari will return to the country in the second week of November, 2022.

This is not the first time the President will travel to London for medical check-up in 2022. Buhari was in the United Kingdom in March and in July for medical purpose.

And as his tenure winds down, this may yet be one of the last times Nigerians will see the President travel out on medical tour.
