IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are serving fans with another iconic couple moment — the two arrived on the red carpet of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere in matching fits.
Just a few days ahead of the release of “Lift Me Up,” the Fenty founder’s single for the movie, the musician made an appearance in a sequined gown paired with long gloves. The star was fully dressed in a grayish-khaki color palette, as she completed her look with a pair of matching heels.
For glam, Riri kept her hair down with boldly lined lips and smokey eyes. Her partner A$AP Rocky followed the same color theme, wearing an oversized denim jacket and baggy trousers accompanied by a black tee and white sneakers.
The red carpet moment comes just a day after the announcement of Rihanna joining the Black Panther soundtrack. Her song “Lift Me Up” was written as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman by the singer herself, alongside Tems, Ludwig Göransson and Ryan Coogler.
Aside Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s iconic moment at the movie premiere, casts, filmmakers and special guests hit the El Capitan Theatre on Wednesday night in Hollywood for the world premiere.
Stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Alex Livinalli and Mabel Cadena were all in attendance at the premiere. Also on the carpet were Marvel boss and producer Kevin Feige with fellow producer Nate Moore and executive producers Louis D’Esposito and Victoria Alonso.
