IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – OGersh, an ardent supporter of Nigeria’s Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, climbed Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro for 10 and a half hours to place the party’s flag at the Uhuru Peak.

The Uhuru peak is the highest and final point of Mount Kilimanjaro and is also the highest on the entire African continent.

The Labour Party supporter on Tuesday took to Twitter and shared a photo of him next to the party’s flag at Uhuru peak.

He posted that the arrival of a new Nigeria could be declared the best on the rooftop of Africa.

“On Friday, after 10 and a half hours of climbing, trekking and hiking, I made it to the Uhuru Peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, 5,895m above sea level. There is no better place to declare the coming of the New Nigeria than the rooftops of Africa,” the supporter tweeted.
