IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nigerian rapper and singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, a.k.a Skales, has announced his mother’s passing.
The former Empire Mate Entertainment (E.M.E) signee made the announcement on Tuesday, 25 October, 2022, on his verified Instagram account.
The Kaduna-born hitmaker shared a video and series of pictures of himself and his mother and captioned: “ MY ANGEL. I will miss you forever… It hurts.”
His colleagues and fans have commiserated with the singer over the loss of her mother.
Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage wrote: “May her soul rest in perfect peace. May God console you and your family during this time.”
Also commenting, Afrobeat sensation, Davido, said: “We dey for you.”
OAP Tools said: “So sorry Skales.”
Actress Dakore Egbuson also said: “So so sorry bro! May God console you and the family as she rests in perfect peace.”
“Sorry for the loss, brother man,” another singer, Goya Amenor, consoled Skales.
Reality TV star, Jay Paul, in his own message, wrote: “My bro. So sorry, brother. So sorry. Stay strong brotherly.”
Although an indigene of Edo state, Skales was born in Kaduna and single-handedly raised by his mother, who did menial jobs to train and nurture him.
