ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Senator Shehu Sani, the immediate past Senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has raised an alarm over the attack on the rally venue of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in Kaduna State.

Sani alleged that Atiku was denied the use of Ahmadu Bello Stadium in the State for his campaign rally, by the thugs.

The Senator in a series of tweets on Monday afternoon, said that thugs invaded the Atiku Rally venue in Kaduna with swords and machetes.

He wrote: “Thugs just invade the Atiku Rally venue in Kaduna with swords and machetes.

“It’s a fact that PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar was denied the use of Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna for his campaign rally.

“Deceptively and belatedly approved only when an alternative arrangement has been made.”

Meanwhile, his tweets have generated lots of criticisms on the social media, as people accused Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, the Governor of Kaduna State of the attack.

According to a Twitter user, @VictorChukwueb8: “Elrufai must be stopped. He can’t Keep turning rotten situations to a bad one. Everyone must be allowed to campaign freely.

Also, @EmolaMonebi replying @ShehuSani wrote: “El Rufai is synonymous with failure, core religious extremist Tinubu has enlist him in his footsoldier.Nigeria watch your back!

Replying to @ShehuSani, another Twitter user, @princeLince said: “APC at work!!!!

“Tinubu will stop at nothing to make sure Nigeria burns into ashes. This is a Man that has enjoyed his life to the fullest, used all manner of hard drugs, birthed Kids across the globe, became a Jagaban without primary & secondary school attendance. HE WILL FAIL!!!”
