LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Scott Parker has just been sacked as the Manager of Bournemouth Football Club, voiceofnaija.ng can authoritatively report.

This was confirmed by popular football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, via a tweet on Tuesday morning, where he shared the news about the English man’s sack.

In the opening four matches of the new season, Parker had lost to Manchester City and Arsenal but the 0-9 whitewash against Liverpool may have convinced the club’s hierarchy to wield the big stick against the former Tottenham Hotspurs player.

Here’s the tweet by Romano on Tuesday morning:

Thus, Scott Parker became the first Manager to be sacked in the English Premier League this season as speculations rise over who’s next on the list.

Bookers say Aston Villa Manager, Steven Gerrard is 5/2 on the list of Managers that are likely to be shown the back door after their recent loss to West Ham.

The Villains are bottom six in the EPL having garnered just three points from 12 in their opening four matches.

To stand any chance of surviving the big stick, Gerrard and his players will have to get a win against high-flying Londoners whom they face in one of the midweek matches on Wednesday.
