LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has moved to suspend a factional Chairman of the party, Derin Adebiyi and 99 others over “anti-party activities”.

The suspension move was premised on a petition written by Idowu Oluwatosin from Ifo Local Government Area (LGA) of Ogun State dated 26th August 2022 and acknowledged at the State party secretariat on 29th August 2022.

The State Chairman of the party, Yemi Sanusi, was copied.

The petition was attached with Certified True Copies of the list of African Democratic Congress (ADC) delegates’ sources from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), submitted to the agency by the ADC.

The petitioner argued that the supposed APC members have violated the constitution of the ruling party and cannot be trusted.
