IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Governor of Kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has appointed actor and movie producer, Eyiwumi Aramide, a k.a Muka Ray, as his senior special assistant on culture and tourism.
The governor announced the appointment in a statement issued by Rafiu Ajakaye, his chief press secretary, on Thursday.
The actor also took to his Instagram page to express his excitement at the appointment.
In the post, the actor appreciated the governor and other persons who made it a reality.
“Special thanks to the people’s governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara state governor for appointing me as the senior special assistant to the governor on culture on tourism. Thank you all, I am now honorable Muka Ray,” he wrote.
Muka Ray hails from the Ipetu/Rore/Aran-Orin ward in Irepodun LGA of the state.
Muka Ray is a veteran in the Nigerian movie industry, particularly of the Yoruba film genre.
