LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned one Michael Anan Onimisi for allegedly developing a software code-named: “Bee-Leaf” and “Real-Eve” to defraud First City Monument Bank Plc, the sum of N17,785,010.75. The suspect, brought before Justice R.M Aikawa of the Federal High Court, sitting in Kaduna, was accused of developing the software to hack into the security measures of the bank to defraud it. LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a credit officer of a microfinance bank, Esther Hamidu, after allegedly fleeing with customers’ contributions totaling N1.97m. Hamidu reportedly absconded with the daily contribution of the bank’s customers which spanned between March and December 2023, Punch reports. LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed nine members of a local vigilante group, popularly known as Yan Ba Beli, in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
