Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), Alhaji Mele Kyari has disclosed that the immediate past government did not make provisions for petroleum subsidy in the 2023 budget. A female suspect detained by the Police for allegedly operating a baby factory in Akudo Azoroh region, Rivers State, has admitted to selling them for N1.4 to N1.5 million depending on their gender. Security agents had raided a child trafficking facility in Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area, in the state, and had rescued six young pregnant women.
