Two suspected members of an armed robbery syndicate who attacked a gold shop, have been arrested by men of the Imo State Police Command. The robbery resulted in a gun battle with law enforcement that ended with one other suspect dead, according to reports. The family of Chinyere Awuda, a lady found dead near an abandoned swimming pool at a hotel in Anambra State, on Friday, rejected the autopsy report that said she died of drowning. One Muhammad Abdullahi, aka Luwawu, has been arrested by men of the Bauchi State Police Command, for thuggery and assault. The suspect allegedly removed the hand of a 25-year old man and stabbed him on the head. Four women who were abducted by bandits in Zamfara state six months ago, have regained freedom and are receiving medical treatment.
