Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has left Nigeria for Switzerland to start a European summer tour after his recent impasse with the Nigerian Police Force.
According to reports, Seun flew to Switzerland on Air France with his band members on Wednesday night to commence his tour in Europe.
Recall that the music star had turned himself in after the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, ordered his arrest after a video of the musician assaulting a police officer surfaced online.
He regained freedom after one week in detention at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba area of Lagos.
His elder brother Femi Kuti said Seun Kuti was supposed to be on tour currently but was detained days before he started.

Femi stated this on Friday at one of his tours in France.
He, however, said the Kuti family was solidly behind Seun, adding that they are expecting positive results soon.
Femi said: “Just before we embark on this tour, my brother Seun got arrested. Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it because it’s in court…But I want you all to know that we have one of the best lawyers. The family is solidly behind him (Seun Kuti) and we do hope for a positive result at the end of the day. He is supposed to be on tour. And then the bail was granted but they extended the detention.”
