LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Nigerian currency dipped a little further against the US Dollar, as the naira continues to struggle against the American currency.
On Thursday, 20 October, 2022, the naira sold for N733.6/dollar in the black market, and stayed at N853.9/pound and also went for N741.8 against the Euro.
The rates obtained by voiceofnaija.ng on Friday afternoon showed that while the naira weakened a bit against the dollar while maintaining its stance against the euro and pound albeit dropping by half a fraction.
While the naira is now selling for N742.3 against the euro and N854.4 against the pound, it fell a bit against the dollar and now sells for N736.2.
For Bureau de Change Operators, this may be quite an interesting period, as the fluctuations have also affected the circulation of the foreign currency.
