American rapper and actor, O’Shea Jackson Sr. known better as “Ice Cube”, is the latest celebrity to distance himself from Kanye West’s anti-semitic remarks.
This comes after Ye said that Cube was influential in his “anti-semitic vibe”.
He suggested that Ice Cube had laid the groundwork and he was just finishing the job, while talking on the “Drink Champs”.
The NWA rapper expressed that he hated that his name was being dragged to the Drink Champs bullsh*t that surrounds Kanye West.
He stated further that any clarifications on his comments should be directed at West because he didn’t know what he ment by them, adding that he “didn’t put the batteries in his back”.
Despite trying to distance himself from Kanye West’s antisemitic remarks, Ice Cube has been accused of antisemitism before due to his single “No Vaseline”.
The song which has been dubbed the best diss track by some of his fans, Ice Cube referred to Jerry Heller as a white jew and a devil that should have a bullet in his temple or for posting this controversial picture on his Twitter feed in 2020.
