ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, says his predecessor and former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, may not be able to withstand the onslaught against him by members of their party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), when the time comes.
Oyetola stated this in an article issued by his media aide, Ismail Omipidan, following happenings in the party in Osun State.
The article by Omipidan was titled: “What does Aregbesola want from Oyetola?”

The spokesman of Oyetola, who is now the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, in the article recounted how his principal was a critical part of bringing Aregbesola to the limelight and sustaining him there by reluctantly agreeing to be his Chief of Staff for the eight tears he was governor.
He said rather than pay Oyetola back with good, Aregbesola fought him throughout his tenure as the Minister of Interior, adding that an attempt to welcome him back after his tenure flopped badly.
Omipidan said: “But one thing Aregbesola must know is that an average Osun APC faithful only appears to be waiting for the appropriate time to square up with him.
“When the time comes, the former governor may not be able to withstand the onslaught.
“I rest my case for now.”
