LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-KFC, a restaurant in Nigeria has reacted to the allegations by Debola Daniel, son of former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, following allegations of discrimination leveled against him by its Airport branch staff.
The controversy arose after the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) imposed a closure sanction on the eatery in question.
Daniel claimed that he was denied entry into the food court at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State, citing his disability as the reason for the refusal.
According to Daniel, the Manager on duty explicitly stated that wheelchair users were not permitted inside the establishment.
In response to these allegations, KFC Nigeria, through its official X handle, emphasised its commitment to inclusivity and respect, categorically denouncing any form of bias or discrimination.
