ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Yaba Magistrate Court is set to resume hearing today, March 12, 2024, in the alleged N1.4 million theft case involving veteran journalist Segun Adenuga and lawyer Moses John Jackson.
The hearing, which was adjourned midway on February 17 due to a sudden power outage in the courtroom, will continue before Magistrate Yeside Balogun.
Adenuga has accused Jackson of breaching their agreement regarding the sale of his late mother’s property situated at 19 Ramonu Street, Ikate, Surulere, Lagos.

According to Adenuga, Jackson failed to remit rent collected from the property and also refused to refund the money paid to him for obtaining letters of administration for their mother’s estate.
Adenuga vehemently denies Jackson’s claim that he used over N600,000 collected as rent from his mother’s property to settle personal debts on his rented apartment.
Jackson, on the other hand, denies all the charges brought against him.
