LAGOS. Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – All is set for Mr. Anucha, a lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Abia State University, to wed his student and lover, Grace.
The relationship between Mr Anucha and his student sparked a controversy after he proposed to her in his classroom.
While many Nigerians criticized his actions, both the university management and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at the institution defended him, stating that he did not violate any university laws or ethical principles.
Despite the backlash, Mr. Anucha on Friday announced via his Facebook page that he and his fiancée, Grace, are set to tie the knot on April 6.
